JMR Global Group was founded by South Africans based in Buenos Aires with over a decade of experience building agribusiness trade flows between Latin America and the world.

We sit at a unique intersection, deep knowledge of the Mercosur supply base on one side, and strong relationships with South African food manufacturers and distributors on the other.

Our model is simple: identify where South Africa is overpaying or undersupplied, find the best Mercosur producer to fill that gap, and manage the relationship from first contact to delivered product.

Mercosur to Africa

We source exclusively from Mercosur, Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay, Paraguay and Chile. These are among the world's most competitive producers of food ingredients, yet many are completely absent from the South African market.

South Africa is our primary end market, but we work across the continent, Nigeria, Kenya, Egypt, Ghana, Morocco and East Africa.

The opportunity is structural: Mercosur produces at world-competitive prices, South Africa imports from more expensive origins. We close that gap.
